CLASS LEVELS AND FEES

Beginner LevelIntermediate LevelAdvanced Level
The Beginner Level is a half-day program that consists of 4 morning classes at approximately one hour each, with registration beginning at 7:15 am, warm-up at 7:45 am, and classes beginning at 8:00 am. Classes will conclude around noon. It will be geared primarily to ages 7 and younger with 2 or less years studio experience although true beginners of any age will be welcome.
The Intermediate Level program consists of a full day of classes which typically includes 8 classes of approximately 1 hour each. Registration begins at 7:15 am, warm-up at 7:45 am, and classes begin at 8:00 am. There is a 1 hour lunch break around noon, and classes conclude around 5:00 pm. These classes are best for dancers ages 8-12 with 2-4 years of studio experience although dancers of all ages are typically represented based on strength of experience and comfort level.
The Advanced Level program consists of a full day of classes which typically includes 9 classes of approximately 1 hour each. Registration begins at 7:15 am, warm-up at 7:45 am, and classes begin at 8:00 am. There is a 1 hour lunch break around noon, and classes conclude around 6:00 pm. LEVEL CHANGES, OBSERVERS & STUDIO TEACHERS

Level ChangesParent ObserversStudio Directors/Teachers
Although we’ve defined levels by age and experience above we also understand that different dancers progress at different rates and may find themselves better suited at a different level after an hour or so of classes. You’ll find us to be flexible in moving students as needed (with studio teacher approval). Students moving up a level will be required to pay the difference in class fees. However, students moving down a level will not be refunded.
$50 for the day or any part thereof. Includes unlimited access to classes of choice. Observation only, no participation. Photography permitted, video recording NOT permitted.
One FREE teacher admission with each six (6) paid students (not including Observers or Scholarship Dancers). Teachers who attend with less than 6 paid students are required to pay the Advanced Level fee for access to dance rooms and teacher classes.

OTHER IMPORTANT INFO

Student RecognitionCompareEntry Deadline
Selected Beginner, Intermediate, and Advanced level dancers will receive scholarships and other recognition following the conclusion of the final class period. Their “audition” for those scholarships will literally be their participation throughout the day. Master teachers will be watching for hard workers, enthusiasm and demonstration of learned skills. The Advanced level schedule in some locations may also include an Audition Class where audition skills will be discussed and practiced.
Students at Dance Directive typically receive just as many hours of instruction in a single day as those other weekend conventions you may be familiar with, and at a much better value. Bottom line is you invest less money in fewer days for virtually the same amount of class time. How can you lose!
Entries must be submitted online with payment-in-full no later than 28 days prior to the day of classes.

Enrollment size, teacher work schedules, etc. will occasionally make class schedule modifications necessary. Final schedules will be included in a studio confirmation email.
