2021 Pittsburg Regional

Event Information

PITTSBURG (KS)

SCHEDULE HAS BEEN REVISED
A revised schedule confirmation has recently been emailed to studio directors. This has been done at the insistence of the venue to allow for even smaller competition blocks than originally scheduled. Friday and Sunday schedules are relatively unchanged, but Saturday has been expanded to 4 group competition blocks instead of 3. Please accept our sincere apologies for any confusion and/or inconvenience this may cause. A revised general schedule appears below.

The venue has also requested that we remind you again of the following policies and procedures:

1. Masks must be worn by everyone at all times and in all venue areas. The only exception will be for dancers during their performances on the stage, where masks will be optional.

2. The number of dancers inside the dressing areas will be limited at any one time. We strongly encourage limited hair and makeup changes between acts. We also strongly recommend each dancer arrive at the venue in her/his first costume of the day, and leave the venue in her/his last costume of the day. Dancers must also remove all items from the dressing areas at the conclusion of each competition block to allow for cleaning and sanitizing of those areas between blocks.

3. Audience members will be restricted to 2 per dancer, and they will only be allowed to attend during the block(s) in which that dancer is competing. To be clear, audience members must leave the building during any blocks in which that dancer is not scheduled to appear on the stage. Please also do not arrive/return to the venue more than 30 minutes before your first/next block begins. All activities, baring technical issues, will be streamed live online so you can watch from about anywhere an internet signal is available.

We are very excited to be hosting this event in an actual theatre, but doing so requires that everyone is vigilant in following the rules as currently established/enforced by the State, County, City and venue. We appreciate your understanding and compliance. Those who do not comply will be asked to leave. Please keep in mind, this event is all about allowing our kids to have some time on the stage where they so desperately long to be, not about protesting rules or making political statements.
